RAUNCHY fire-breathing and dazzling acrobatics come to Element this weekend as the Fuel Girls touch down in Southend.
Describing themselves as a “high-impact, ultra-sexy, fire-eating, fire-breathing strip-tease dance, entertainment and stunt show” the girls bring their show from Las Vegas to the club, in Alexandra Street, tomorrow night.
“I noticed them on a website,” says organiser Steve Cochrane. “I thought what a thrilling act.”
The girls combine dare-devil acrobatic stunts with fire spinning antics.
Steve says: “They perform in Las Vegas and all over the world. They’ll be doing a full show, exactly what they do in Las Vegas. They do an aerial show above the dance floor with aerial hoops and silks from the ceiling.
“They’re all going to be doing acrobatics. I think that’s what’s going to make them stand out from any other club dance troupes you’ll see in any other club.”
The Fuel Girls have performed at events including the London Tattoo Convention and are used to high profile appearances at major clubs including London’s Pacha.
Steve adds: “A lot of clubbers will have never seen anything like them.
“It’s obviously going to be a really strong night. Saturday is one of the busiest nights anyway and we’re really trying to put on different acts from the usual run-of-the-mill live PA.
“We’re trying to make things a little bit different and a little bit more off-the-cuff entertainment.”
