IT was hugely disappointing to hear our overseas player Lonwabo Tsotsobe be critical of our club this week.
I spoke to a lot of good contacts in South Africa about Lopsy before bringing him over and they all said he would do a good job for us.
So it has been very disappointing that he arrived with such a negative attitude towards county cricket.
He came here under-prepared and I was disappointed to hear what he had to say about other members of our squad.
Our dressing room is one of the easiest to fit into. You ask people like David Masters or Chris Wright, who have come here from other counties, and they will tell you it’s an easy environment to come into.
Lopsy needs to look at himself.
He has not put the effort into his cricket here. I think he thought it would be a nice easy ride over here, but it’s not.
I’ve got meetings with our chief executive over this matter and there’s a good chance Lopsy will be on a plane home by the weekend.
That would be a week to ten days before his contract runs out.
If he doesn’t want to be here, then we don’t want him here.
