Attempted break-ins in Hockley
BURGLARS attempted to get into two Hockley homes.
Police are connecting the offences which both happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
the first was in Southciew Road, where a crook reached in through an open window.
Luckily he was disturbed and fled empty-handed.
It happened between 12.20am and 12.40am.
The sexond happened about five minutes later in Greensward Lane.
A resident saw someone reach in through an open window in a ground floor flat. They shouted and then heard the suspect run away.
