Senior civil servants have voted to strike over pension reform.
With an estimated three million unemployed, there must be enough to take up these positions, at a fair salary and pension package in line with the private sector.
The Government should get rid of the fat cat strikers and save the country millions if not billions of pounds.
This also applies to overpaid head teachers who churn out children unable to read, write and add up to an acceptable standard.
We cannot afford our antiquated compensation laws any more. The nation is almost bankrupt, so at best, let’s pay them just a small percentage of what they think they are owed, just like claimants against bankrupt companies in the private sector.
Time for more realism instead of the altruism they have thus enjoyed.
