Isn’t it time the Government extended the restrictions on where people may or may not smoke?
People are not allowed to smoke in pubs, clubs or restaurants.
My wife and I were recently in a very nice restaurant in Benfleet when the couple on the next table went outside for a cigarette.
When they came back in a good ten minutes later, their clothes reeked of cigarettes and we and people on surrounding tables could clearly smell the odour of stale smoke.
I have also seen taxi drivers smoking while driving or waiting between jobs. Is this not illegal?
