While walking in Southend with my wife on Sunday, I came across some people clearing the overgrown vegetation in the passageway between Kenway and East Street. I understand they were doing this voluntarily.
As I walked further up East Street, I came across other people who had illegally set up camp in the ancient churchyard of St.
Mary’s.
It is a pity these people couldn’t put their energy to better use, for example by doing voluntary work for the benefit of other people, instead of moaning about life in general.
