My mother has been in Southend Hospital. It was very serious at first, but after first-class treatment, care and attention, she is now well on the road to recovery and back home.
Make no mistake, this is down to the dedication of some of the finest medical staff. I even include the tea trolley personnel.
Always smiling, always obliging and time for a word or two.
One nurse mum spoke to had six wards to look after.
Each ward with different age groups, different complaints, male and female, but all dealt with the same respect and kindness.
These people are worth every penny they are paid, and more.
