A SOUTHEND burglar has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.

Mark Vale, 44, of Honiton Road, Southend, admitted four burglaries in the Southend area which were committed between May and August.

The prison sentence was handed down for a burglary in Church Road, Shoebury, which happened on August 2.

Three other burglaries were taken in to consideration (TIC).

These happened in Ravendale Way, Shoebury, on May 28, Elm Grove, Thorpe Bay, on June 11, and Woodgrange Drive, Southend, on June 28.
