TWO men are due to stand trial after a car crash in Southend.
It comes after a silver Honda Accord struck a lamp post in Victoria Avenue on September 14.
A 46-year-old man has now been charged with one count of being in possession of a Class B drug, one count of failing to consent to having a specimen of blood analysed, one count of driving without insurance, one count of driving without due care and attention and one count of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. An 18-year-old man has been charged with driving without insurance.
Both men have been released on police bail prior to their appearances at Southend Magistrates Court on Monday, January 7.
