POLICE are appealing for information following a street robbery in Southend.
A 19-year-old man from Benfleet was approached by a hooded teenager in a ski mask on a BMX bike in Short Street, who demanded his mobile phone. He was also verbally threatened.
The victim handed over his iPhone 4 and the suspect then rode away.
He is described as white, about 18-years-old, 6ft tall, and wore a black hooded top with the hood up, black trousers, and a ski mask across his mouth and nose.
Anyone with information at around 8pm on Thursday, December 6, is asked to contact Ds Tanya Bailey at Southend CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
