A COMMUNITY centre is getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Members of the Wickford Community Centre, in Market Road, are gearing up for a huge celebration to mark the building’s 50th anniversary on October 19.
The building will play host to a party inside its main hall showcasing exhibitions from local groups.
Entertainment will also be held throughout the day to get everyone into the party spirit.
It will also be decked out in gold balloons and decorations to mark the milestone.
Among the activities are children’s entertainment, while a square dance will take place in the evening
