A lifeboat was called to rescue a boat with four people on board after it broke down.
The 27ft sailing vessel had suffered engine failure and sail damage on the Maplin Sands.
The Thames Coastguard received a radio call from the boat at around 10am yesterday.
The Sheerness RNLI Lifeboat towed the boat to the Alltide landing at Queenborough, where it was met by Sheppey Coastguard Rescue Team who issued safety advice to those on board.
