POLICE want to trace this man in connection with the theft of a catalytic converter.
Thieves unbolted the item from a Mercedes Sprinter van parked on Mill Road, Aveley, at 3am on Sunday, July 28.
Investigating Officer, Pc Ceri Jenkins, said: "We believe this group arrived and left the scene in an old-style red Vauxhall Corsa. We would urge anyone who know of friends, relatives or housemates that own a such car or have the hoodie that is shown in the image to contact us."
The man pictured in the CCTV, who was with a group of other men, is wearing a hoodie with the words "Cross Hatch” written across the front.
Anyone with information in connection with this theft is urged to contact Grays’ Neighbourhood Crime Team on 101.
