FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a girl from a car following a three-vehicle crash in Southend.
The vehicles collided in Eastwoodbury Lane at around 6pm on Saturday.
Crews from Leigh and South Woodham were called to the scene and gave the girl oxygen therapy and first aid while they awaited the arrival of ambulance crews.
Two other people were also trapped as a result of the incident.
The girl was released by 7:11pm and the two other casualties by 7:51pm.
All three were left in the care of the ambulance service.
