Motorists advised to avoid the A127 following crash involving police car
MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid the A127 tonight following a crash involving a police car.
The accident happened just before 4pm, and has led to the closure of the A127 just past where it was already closed due to the flooding.
The collision happened near the junction with Daws Heath Road, Southend bound.
The road towards Southend is likely to be closed for some time and drivers should find alternative routes.
A marked police BMW responding to an emergency using lights and sirens was in collision with a black BMW and a blue Fiat Punto.
