POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man in connection with a robbery at a Westcliff bank.
A man went into Lloyds TSB on London Road and passed a note to staff demanding money on Monday, August 19, at around 10am.
He told staff he had a gun although no weapon was seen, and was passed a four-figure sum of cash before leaving the bank.
The man is described as being in his sixties, around 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall with grey hair and facial stubble.
He was of slim build, wore a grey/green anorak, and was carrying two carrier bags.
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, based at Pitsea police station, are investigating the robbery.
Witnesses are asked to contact officers on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
