POLICE have released CCTV images of man wanted for an assault in Leigh.
The attack happened when a 53-year-old man was punched in the face outside J D Weatherspoon, The Elms Public House, on Sunday, August 11 just after 5.30pm.
The manager had asked the man to leave the premises.
The offender is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall and has short hair.
He had been in the company of a woman who has dark curly hair and had been wearing a pink top.
Investigating Officer Pc Stuart Birch said: "We are appealing for witnesses to the assault outside the pub as well as family, friends or work colleagues to come forward with his name.”
Anyone with information in connection with the assault is urged to contact investigating officers at Southend Police station on 101.
