The warehouse and office block in Mill Lane, Rochford has been hit by several fires recently.

Fire crews from Southend, Rochford, Hawkwell and two from Chelmsford attended the blaze at 5.06pm yesterday.

A water bowser was sent to the scene to maintain supply.

Crews arriving at the scene reported that the roof of the building, measuring 15m x 20m, was 100 per cent alight.

Crews from Southend and Rochford returned throughout the night and will be at the site for most of today to dampen down hotspots that are reigniting with the wind.
