Firefighters tackle fire at derelict changing rooms

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a small fire at former changing rooms in King George’s Playing Fields in Tilbury.
Two engines from Orsett fire station were called to the incident off St Chad’s Road at around 12.45pm on Saturday.
The derelict building, measuring eight by six metres was smoke logged when firefighters arrived.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus are used one hose reel to tackle the fire.
It was extinguised by 1.15pm.
The cause has been recorded as deliberate.
