FIRE crews were called to an arson at the derelict Stambridge Mills site this morning.
Firefighters from Rochford, Southend and Hawkwell attended the call at 5.30am.
The derelict two storey building on the former mill site was destroyed by the blaze.
Crews spent two hours fighting the flames.
The cause has been recorded as deliberate.
Crews were called there last month and in June to other suspicious blazes.
A fire in March was caused accidentally as work to demolish the 12 storey mill was underway.
Crews will re-visit later today to check for any hotspots.
