Fishing boat stranded
LIFEBOATMEN have rescued a fishing boat stranded on the River Roach.
A fishing boat with two people aboard became stranded on the River Roach after its propeller broke at about 10.45am today.
The crew managed to drop anchor until the Burnham all-weather lifeboat came to their rescue.
The lifeboat towed the vessel to Paglesham, where its crew came ashore.
