Family fun day to help raise cash for sensory room
A BENFLEET charity held a fun day to help raise funds for new equipment for its day centre.
Crossroads provides breaks for carers and runs the day centre in Kiln Road, for young adults with learning disabilities.
The family event featured a barbecue, bouncy castles, craft stalls, raffles and other attractions in an attempt to raise £1,000 towards equipment for the room.
The sensory room helps provide specialist therapy and the charity hopes to raise £10,000 to kit it out with all the equipment they need.
