POLICE officers are trying to find the owner of a bike which was recovered during a house search.

They have identified the bike as a Ridgeback Comet mountain bike which is silver/grey in colour.

It was recovered from an address in Westcliff and is believed to have been stolen.

Anyone who recognises the bike and can prove ownership is asked to contact PC Christian Forbes at Rayleigh CID on 101.
