The fires were in the High Street, Leigh.
A MAN was arrested at Leigh train station last night following two fires on the High Street.
The 26-year old, from Leigh, was arrested on suspicion of attempted arson following a fire at an address on the High Street and one at the cockle sheds around 11.15pm.
The man was also arrested on possession of cannabis and a bladed article after being apprehended at Leigh train station.
Police said the fires weren’t serious and the man remains in custody.
