A MAN suspected of carrying out a brutal attack on a teenager in a supermarket car park is wanted by police.
Jamie Wernham, 21, whose last known address was in Southend, is believed to have chased a woman before she tripped over and he kicked her repeatedly in the head.
During the attack in the carpark of Sainsbury’s in William Hunter Way, Brentwood, at 11.10pm last Friday, the 19-year-old woman suffered a fractured cheekbone and other injuries.
Police have been trying to find Jamie Wernham since the weekend.
As well as Southend, he also has contacts in Brentwood and Chelmsford. He is white, 5ft 9in tall and of slim build.
