TWO fire crews attended a house fire in Hullbridge this afternoon after an iron was left on too long.
Firefighters from Rayleigh Weir station were called to Grasmere Avenue in Hullbridge at 3.03pm this afternoon.
Crews extinguished the small fire in a bedroom using a backpack sprayer.
A high pressured fan was then used to ventilate the room free of smoke, the incident was dealt with by 3.34pm.
