A MAN is alleged to have stolen £50 worth of meat from a Benfleet Co-Op.
Police at Rayleigh's Retail Crime Unit want to speak with the man, pictured, in connection with the theft after he left without making an attempt to pay for the chilled meat.
It is alleged he went into the Co-Op in London Road, Great Tarpots, at around 8pm on Saturday, March 15, snatched the food and left.
Anybody that can help is asked to call the Retail Crime Unit at Rayleigh on Essex Police 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
