These youngsters enjoyed throwing themselves into having fun, after studying hard during the autumn.
Year 4 student Lucy Gurnwell had a 100 per cent attendance record at Cherry Tree Primary School in Church Road, Basildon, during the autumn term and was rewarded by having her name entered in a draw to win a trip to a fun restaurant.
She won and was then able to pick nine friends to join her for a meal and some fund at the Four Seasons Hungry Horse in Laindon.
Learning mentor Stef Parry said: "They loved it and have all said they are going to be in school every day this term, so they can be in with a chance of winning next time."
