Man charged over assaulting Rayleigh teen in her own home
A man has been charged with wounding with intent and assault by beating following an assault on a teenager in Rayleigh on Saturday.
Halil Cetinkayali, 28, of Amersham Avenue, London was arrested on Saturday following the assault of a 19-year-old woman in the early hours of the morning in her own home on Grove Road.
Cetinkayali has been remanded in custody to appear before Southend Magistrates Court on Tuesday April 29.
The victim was taken to Southend Hospital for treatment to multiple injuries to her head and body but was later discharged.
