THREE people arrested in connection with the death or a man in a caravan have been released without charge.
Police were called to a caravan off Clock House Road in Little Burstead at about 4am on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6, 2013, following concerns by ambulance crews a man was seriously ill inside.
Officers arrived and found Sam Garcia being treated by paramedics, but the 26-year-old man from Brooks Avenue in East Ham was certified dead at the scene a short time later.
Sam was brought up in Downham Market, Norfolk and later moved to east London.
A post mortem examination showed that Samuel Garcia died as a result of a head injury.
Three people were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
They were two men aged 30 and 31 from Canning Town in east London and a 35-year-old woman from East Ham.
The trio had been on police bail while police investigated the circumstances surrounding Mr Garcia’s death.
Enquiries are continuing but the three have now been released from police bail.
A file will now be prepared for HM Coroner ahead of Mr Garcia’s inquest- which will take place in due course.
