A FIRE-HIT pre-school is organising a family fun day to raise money for a new base.
Busy Bees has been forced to rely on temporary accommodation since its centre, in Laindon Link, Laindon, was destroyed in a blaze in February.
Management, staff and parents have teamed up to raise cash for a new building, which would be free from Basildon Council control.
Guests at the fun day, taking place at the Post Office Club, in Gardiners Way, Basildon, will be able to browse a selection of stalls, socialise at the bar and have a go on a bouncy castle.
It will take place from 11am until 4pm on Saturday.
