A young magician has conjured up more than £100 for charity.
Ryan Sholem, 13, who is a student at the Deanes School, Thundersley, will also perform in front of 650 children with special needs.
The money raised and the performance are both to benefit the London Taxi Drivers' Fund, which provides treats for underprivileged children and special needs youngsters.
Founded in 1928, the charity is renowned for its outings to the seaside.
Ryan decided to help out after hearing about the charity through a family friend.
He collected money from family, friends and at school.
He said:"I'm looking forward to performing in front of all the children, which will be really good."
Ryan performed at the Cliffs Pavilion as part of a special magic show for the children last year.
Mum Cherry, of the Ridgeway, Westcliff, said she was incredibly proud of her son.
