All of the faces on Royal Mail's latest set of first-class stamps live in the waters off the Essex coast.
Visitors to Southend or Canvey seafronts may be able to spot a grey seal, a moon jellyfish, or an eight-legged lesser octopus.
All these are pictured on the stamps, which cost 32p, as well as the shore crab, the thornback ray, bass, mussels, the Beadlet anemone, the five-armed common starfish and the common sun star.
Royal Mail spokeswoman Melanie Corfield said: "These beautiful first-class stamps are a superb addition to our animals thematic series which I know many collectors look forward to.
"I'm sure the millions of people who will receive these stamps on letters or as gifts will really enjoy the experience of seeing these stunning visual examples of our marine life."
The stamps are available to buy from today.
