A MAN alleged to have helped a woman murder a young father has appeared at Basildon Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
Matthew Boulton, 30, of Victoria Avenue, Southend, is accused of assisting in the murder of father-of-one Ricky Wyatt and stealing a car.
Mr Wyatt, 34, formerly of Royal Court, Laindon, died when he was stabbed outside a block of flats in Little Lullaway, Laindon, last September.
Boulton will reappear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday, April 24, when he expected to enter pleas to the charges.
Kathryn Taylor, 32, of Gaywood, Laindon, denies murdering Mr Wyatt and will stand trial at Basildon Crown Court on July 16.
