TWO youngsters are about to make their small screen debut alongside Noel Edmonds.
Lewis Holmes, ten, from Little Burstead, and Meisha Kelly, also ten, of Long Rise, Billericay, were selected from thousands of applicants to appear as regulars on Are You Smarter Than a 10-Year-Old?
The show, hosted by TV comedians Dick and Dom, and Noel Edmonds, brings adults and children together to answer questions on science, maths, history and general knowledge any ten-year old should be able to answer.
But it is the adults who are really under pressure, as they work their way up the ladder for an ultimate cash prize of £250,000.
Lewis said: "It was brilliant. I'm a classmate on the programme and have to try to help adults to win a quarter of a million pounds.
"We worked nine hours a day to revise for all the answers."
Meisha said: "We weren't given the answers.
"That's what makes it, because it's real. Noel was also quite funny and kept making jokes."
Meisha and Lewis will either guide the contestants to victory or witness their humiliating defeat in the show, which will be shown on Sky TV in October.
