Grays School Media Arts College held its annual presentation evening at the Civic Hall.
Current and former students were rewarded for their efforts, with presentations of awards, GCSE certificates and special trophies for individual success.
Guest speaker was Lloyd Scott, best known for raising over £4million for charity to date by running marathons in a heavy antique diving suit.
A special mention was made to Iona Harries, who achieved a maximum score of 200 in her geography GCSE.
Deputy head Tim Rider said: "It was great to see so many pupils past and present rewarded for their hard efforts."
