We have all seen various photographs taken of Southend in the snow in the last week, but now you can see what our seaside town looks like from above when covered in the white stuff.
Ross Birnie took advantage of the sub-zero temperatures and decided to send his drone into the south Essex skies to see how the scenery changes after snowfall.
Storm Darcy resulted in many us of having Covid-safe fun in wintery conditions, while we even saw members of the community going along the seafront on skis.
The 32-year-old, who lives in Leigh, wanted to capture the scenery from and was not disappointed, as this video and range of photographs show.
He said: “I fly drones for a living but really enjoy getting footage like this.
“I think it’s one of the nicest periods of snowfall we’ve had for a while. I just wanted to capture it from above to show people how the whole town is looking.
“It’s great seeing people enjoying themselves and it makes a difference because of the current problems we’re all facing.
“From above, everything looks a bit different. You get a sense of scale and can see how the wider area looks under snowfall and seeing people going about their days from high in the sky.”
