AN air ambulance has landed in a Southend seafront car park this afternoon.
The emergency helicopter was seen landing at the Seaway car park, with crews believed to be dealing with an incident on York Road.
Witnesses say teams were helping "someone in distress."
It's unclear at this stage the full reasoning why the air ambulance was required.
Phil Peries, who snapped the above picture, revealed how three ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were on the scene.
The 64-year-old, said: "I hope they're alright. It doesn't look good when so many ambulances were needed.
"The air ambulance didn't take off with anyone.
"The helicopter is usually from Cornwall. The crew explained how it's on loan to Essex at the moment."
