Today marks 10 years since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in a much-anticipated Royal wedding - and the big day was celebrated in style in south Essex.
Kate married into the Royal family on April 29, 2011, with close to 2,000 people cramming in to Westminster Abbey to witness the ceremony.
Across the globe, two billion people tuned into the television coverage of the big day.
The wedding sparked celebratory scenes in locations such as Southend, Basildon and Canvey.
