A TOWN centre Poundland store will be closing in under two weeks time.
The shop, in Basildon Town Square, has stuck posters to the front window, confirming it will close on May 29.
The date gives shoppers just 12 days to spot a bargain.
The lease on the shop is believed not to have been renewed.

The Poundland store in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon is understood to be remaining open.
A spokeman from Poundland, said: "We're sad to be closing our store at Town Square, Basildon, on 29 May because the lease has expired, but we'll still be offering customers amazing value at the nearby Eastgate Centre and at Old Market Retail Park in Pitsea.
"Where we close a store, it goes without saying we always work hard to look after colleagues directly affected."
