FORMER footballer and TV presenter Dion Dublin opened a new gym studio at Basildon's Sporting Village.
Dublin, who regularly appears on Match of the Day and Homes under the Hammer on the BBC, launched the new Fortis studio at the leisure centre on Cranes Farm Road.
The studio, described as "boutique", features gym equipment and open floor space available to use for classes.
The former footie star was joined by instructors and bosses from Basildon Council at the launch on Thursday.

Craig Rimmer, councillor in charge of the leisure committee, welcomed the move.
He said: "It was great to welcome Dion to Basildon and to see the new studio."
David Dadds, the mayor of Basildon, added how he would "pop along" for a workout at the Fortis studio.
Speedflex, the firm behind the studio, said: "Another day, another launch.
"On Thursday we were in Basildon for the Fortis powered by Speedflex opening at Basildon Sporting Village."
