YOUNGSTERS learnt plate spinning and music making at a fun clown workshop.

Sandow Clowns Fabulous Circus Party was performing at the Paddocks community centre in Long Road, Canvey.

The event was run by Sheila Bratby and her husband Thomas and involves an hour-and-a-half show with children invited up on stage to take part.

Mrs Bratby said: "They all really enjoyed themselves and we had a very good house.

"We had lots of children up to the age of eight or nine and lots of toddlers."
