A DETERMINED mum whose treatment by clampers helped spark a three-hour blockade by angry residents is still battling to get her fine lifted.
In February, residents of the Vision estate in Kenway, Prittlewell, fought back when 11 cars were clamped.
Friends and relatives formed a five-car blockade which trapped the parking enforcers from London Parking Control and forced them to release the clamped vehicles.
But Lisa Stiles, 29, was one of just two residents to pay the £125 release fee, even though she had not been sent a parking permit by estate managers Ringley.
She now feels she has been punished for playing by the rules after having her appeal against the fine turned down by LPC.
Lisa said: "I'm not happy. I'll contact Ringley because I still want my money back. Ringley should refund me because they've refunded all the others who were released that day. It doesn't seem fair.
"I was only doing the right thing by paying the money because I had to go."
At the time, Lisa was taking her seven-month-old baby Ella to Southend Hospital for a check-up on her eczema when the clampers pounced.
Fellow residents were outraged that Lisa was left in tears after coughing up the money - and she still missed the appointment.
Lisa has contacted Ringley and is waiting to hear back from the company about whether it would refund her.
She said other residents are displaying their permits now, but there has been no sign of the clampers since they left the estate after the stand-off.
