A MAN was left injured after an accident on the A13.
Fire crews were called to the accident between the Orsett Cock roundabout and the Tilbury turn-off at 8.53am, yesterday.
One man was hurt, but had already been removed from the vehicle by paramedics by the time firefighters arrived.
The crews, including two engines from Orsett and a rescue tender from Grays, were able to leave the scene after 35 minutes having made the road safe.
Lengthy tailbacks were caused for motorists on the London bound carriageway of the A13, as the wreckage was cleared from the road.
