FREE wristbands will be handed out to parents this summer to make sure their children stay safe on the seafront.
Parents are encouraged to write a mobile number on the waterproof wristbands and put it on their child's arm, so if they become separated in the crowds, they can be easily reunited with a phone call.
The Southend Seafront Illuminations Business Association and Adventure Island, have paid for 30,000 wristbands to be given away for free.
To claim yours, visit the Southend Seafront Police Office, Southend Pier, Adventure Island, Sea Life Adventure, Pebbles 1&2, Three Shells Café and Pavilion Café.
