CORRINGHAM'S baptist church is holding a three day celebration to commemorate their 70-year anniversary this weekend.
The fun begins on Friday when the church, in Springhouse Road, plays host to the Martin Claydon Swing Band from 7pm to 9pm.
On Saturday there will be a flower festival between 11am and 4.30pm.
There will also be church memorabilia on display from its last 70 years including photographs and records.
From 3pm to 4.30pm there will be a puppet show.
The church will then hold a special invitation only anniversary tea for 100 guests to sit down and enjoy, while listening to the singing of local couple Peter and Shirley Spreadborough.
To round off the day there will be an evening with the popular Mosaic Choir.
On Sunday - the official anniversary - a service will be held in the church from 10.30am.
