FANS of historic aircraft can board one of the final flights of a Second World War Dakota.
The transport planes were first used in 1941 by the RAF.
The Dakota Farewell Pleasure Tour will see the last flights of these historic aircraft from airports across the country, including Southend.
The flights from Southend will take place on May 30 and 31. Ticket price is £99 per person.
Air Atlantique which operates the planes say spiralling EU regulations are either too expensive to put into practice or, in some cases, impossible to carry out. Call 08703 304747, or visit www.airatlantique.co.uk
