YOUNGSTERS have been playing pool and singing karaoke at a youth club in Southend.
The Chill Out Zone has been catering for more than 40 kids aged up to 14 years old over the last few months.
It became so popular that club bosses may even introduce a waiting list to join because it is booked up.
The club, which meets on Fridays, was set up by Neighbourhood Watch, the police and Whittingham Methodist church which hosts the evenings.
Neighbourhood specialist officer PC Andy Booker helps organise the fortnightly club.
He said: "We wanted to give the youngsters something to do in the area and somewhere to go.
"It has been very popular."
