A MAN has been charged with causing the death of a heavily pregnant young woman who died following a tragic road collision in Southend.
Detectives today (Sunday) charged the 20-year-old man with causing the death of 21 year old Keeley Hartnett by dangerous driving.
Southend Hospital worker Keeley was just weeks away from giving birth when she was involved in a fatal road collision in Manners Way, Southend, on Sunday October 7 last year.
The man has been released on police bail and is due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court on Thursday May 1.
