POLICE are hunting two teenagers who assaulted another young girl in Southend on Saturday.
The 18-year-old girl was attacked outside Costa Coffee in the High Street at 4.45pm. One of attackers pulled the girl's hair, causing her to lose her balance and fall over. The girl was then kicked as she lay on the ground. She was left with a swollen lip and lumps on her head.
A bag she was carrying disappeared in the commotion and may have been stolen. It contained a Samsung phone.
Police say the assailants were both aged 18 to 19. One was referred to as Jessica and had long, brown hair. She was of a large build and wore a black, white, and grey leopard print tope.
The other attacker had long, blonde fuzzy hair which was tied back and was also of large build.
